: Slope stabilisation with Micro LÖFFEL^® precast concrete blocks can be realised with slopes between approx. 45° and 75°. For shallow slopes, it is important that the block rests at least 10 cm deep on the bottom row.

Micro LÖFFEL^® precast concrete blocks weigh approx. 18.5 kg; approx. 9-11 blocks per square metre are required.
: Micro LÖFFEL^® precast concrete blocks serve the function of slope and embankment protection and low retaining walls. They are suitable for drystone walls up to a height of approximately 150 cm.

Micro LÖFFEL^® precast concrete blocks are characterised by their adaptability and are insensitive to ground settlement or movement. They are also reusable, making them a sustainable choice. The concave (or spoon-shaped) design retains and stores water. This creates optimal conditions for plant growth. You can plant the blocks to create a truly green and natural look for your retaining wall.
: The foundation for the Micro LÖFFEL^® must be adapted to the ground conditions and its function. In most cases, a compacted gravel foundation with a width of approx. 40 cm and a depth of 10-30 cm is sufficient.
The planting of the Micro LÖFFEL^® precast concrete blocks can be custom designed according to the customer's location and preferences. Various herbs and flowers, ornamental shrubs and rock garden flowers can be planted.
When laying the Micro LÖFFEL^® precast concrete blocks, the first row must be staggered, with a distance between the blocks of approx. 20 cm. The elements are filled with humus in rows; the free space behind the wall is compacted with gravel and water-permeable material. The subsequent rows are positioned so that the notches in the bottom of the block of the upper row rest on the side walls of the lower row. The horizontal setback of each row creates the slope of the wall.

: LÖFFEL^® Arbalett precast concrete blocks meet the requirements for the protection of large planting slopes as well as noise protection walls. Their special shape, reminiscent of a crossbow, makes them the ideal solution for projects with large construction heights and effective retaining walls.
: LÖFFEL^® Arbalett precast concrete blocks are characterised by the following features:

Structures with considerable heights: Thanks to their robust construction, LÖFFEL^® Arbalett precast concrete blocks safely stabilises slopes, embankments, and terraces with considerable heights.

Easy to lay: Precast concrete blocks are very easy to lay on the prepared foundation. They provide good stability and simplify the construction process.
Good sound absorption: LÖFFEL^® Arbalett precast concrete blocks have good insulation and sound absorption capacity and are therefore ideal for noise barriers.

Low footprint: due to their special shape, precast concrete blocks require less space than conventional retaining walls, resulting in overall space savings.

Large planting areas and minimal concrete content: LÖFFEL^® Arbalett precast concrete blocks offer large areas in which plants can optimally grow and thrive. At the same time, the concrete content is minimised to achieve a more natural appearance.

Approx. 1.2 blocks per square metre: due to their size, the requirement for LÖFFEL^® Arbalett precast concrete blocks per square metre is only approx. 1.2 blocks, resulting in an efficient use.
: LÖFFEL^® Arbalett precast concrete blocks are placed in layers on the prepared foundation. In order to ensure the stability of the elements, the bars of the blocks can be supported with the appropriate support elements. The intermediate spaces are filled in layers with humus or a non-cohesive, water-permeable material, which is then compacted. Due to their weight, LÖFFEL^® Arbalett precast concrete blocks are laid using machines. For vertical walls, it is advisable to install an irrigation system. Depending on static requirements, it is advisable to install an extension bar to achieve a longer anchorage length.
: The design of the foundations depends on the subsurface conditions, the height of the wall and the function of the wall body. Professional advice and/or structural calculations are strongly recommended, as the wall characteristics can be influenced by various factors.
: LÖFFEL^® Arbalett precast concrete blocks allow for both concave and convex curves. No special elements are required for realisation. In addition, it is possible to create masonry units with vertical walls.
: LÖFFEL^® Arbalett precast concrete blocks have a minimum strength class of C35/40 and an exposure class of XC4, XF1, XD2. Installation must be carried out professionally in accordance with the manufacturer's safety instructions.
: We supply and install precast concrete elements of the Arbalett type for the construction of an interlocking, self-draining and planted drywall with a load-bearing function (sound-absorbing wall). The elements have a crossbow shape and a crescent-shaped shield. The supporting element or extension bar is only required for retaining walls. The concrete blocks have a minimum strength class of C35/40 and an exposure class of XC4, SF1, XD2. Installation must be carried out professionally and according to the manufacturer's safety instructions.
