The foundation for the Micro LÖFFEL^® must be adapted to the ground conditions and its function. In most cases, a compacted gravel foundation with a width of approx. 40 cm and a depth of 10-30 cm is sufficient.

The planting of the Micro LÖFFEL^® precast concrete blocks can be custom designed according to the customer's location and preferences. Various herbs and flowers, ornamental shrubs and rock garden flowers can be planted.

When laying the Micro LÖFFEL^® precast concrete blocks, the first row must be staggered, with a distance between the blocks of approx. 20 cm. The elements are filled with humus in rows; the free space behind the wall is compacted with gravel and water-permeable material. The subsequent rows are positioned so that the notches in the bottom of the block of the upper row rest on the side walls of the lower row. The horizontal setback of each row creates the slope of the wall.

LÖFFEL^® Arbalett precast concrete blocks are placed in layers on the prepared foundation. In order to ensure the stability of the elements, the bars of the blocks can be supported with the appropriate support elements. The intermediate spaces are filled in layers with humus or a non-cohesive, water-permeable material, which is then compacted. Due to their weight, LÖFFEL^® Arbalett precast concrete blocks are laid using machines. For vertical walls, it is advisable to install an irrigation system. Depending on static requirements, it is advisable to install an extension bar to achieve a longer anchorage length.
